Help my husband have be within agonizing misery...heart or gas problem?

My husband is having agony right in the hub of of his ribs spreading across to both sides below ribs. he went within er to get ecg done and some scan. all come clear, they assumed it to be gas.
but its been adjectives night and he isnt thought well also have temperature immediately about 100. Before going put money on to hospital
can someone suggest wt might be this? can it be coz of some infection down food pipe on mouth of stomach?Help my husband have be within agonizing misery...heart or gas problem?
I work in radiology, I would manifestly request a CT scan of the abdomen/pelvis with contrast this will check out the gastrointestinal tract as capably as the upper abdominal organs. I have see pts coming in next to gallstones that have really similiar simptoms to these. Also you'll probably want to get some antibiotics for his hallucination.
He may have a hiatal hernia. Ask to be checked for one surrounded by his upper GI.
is his pain close at hand the middle of his stomach? if so, is his stomach making noise? close to rumbling noises? if it is, he might hold food poisoning. some people own symptoms of food poisoning and it can take up to 6 - 12 hours since you get anything out. but one of the symptoms is severe throbbing in the middle of your stomach. hope this help.

Take him back to the hospital. Especially beside a fever!
