My Dr. wants me to enjoy a test to see what my heart is doing near Mitral Valve prolapse. He says this is a exotic test and doesn't enjoy to be an arteriogram which I am afraid to have. Has anyone have this new testing that they inject dye and make pictures of the heart as the dye go through it to see what is happening to your heart? They narrate me this test ultimate one for 2 hours and one for 4 hours. If anyone knows more or less this new interview please answer as I have to enjoy it soon and need to know. Thanks for any lend a hand by anyone who may have have this done recently--This supposed to take the place of the arteriogram!Heart theory test?
I don't know how clean it is but what you are describing sounds like a MUGA, MUltiple Gated Acquisition scan.
When I have my first one it took two days. First day they injected a radioactive dye / flap and I layed in the piece of equipment for a few hours and then I come back the second hours of daylight and laid in the electrical device ( without an injection).
It's supposed to be really fitting / better than an echo.
I don't know around it being a replacement for an angiogram, I've have them too.
A link is attached.
Always have a 3D echocardiogram for mine. Picture gave them the blood flow rates and returns in need having to use any dye. Took around 40 min and no ill effects.
Good luck.
Well, within is a test call angiogram on which they inject dye to see the heart valves. I don't contemplate it's new. The nouns rate is high. No complications. If you hold a great dr. you shouldn't have anything to verbs about.
It's call a MIBI test. I have it and it took almost 4 hours. Good luck and try not to worry.
